In my personal opinion I feel like primary school years really sets the foundations and stepping stones to our children’s education. I know I want my boys to go to a school where they feel safe, feel respected, builds their confidence, has the resources to help them become resilient, teach the importance of using initiative and providing many opportunities where they can be the very the best version of themselves.

I want the Primary school that I choose to provide them with opportunities for them to excel in areas they show interest in. I want the school to encourage each child to be proud of their individuality and uniqueness and give them the opportunities to explore and enhance this. I want them to feel a sense of calm and have opportunities to build upon their own imagination and allow them to just enjoy being kids- get messy, and encourage all forms of play.

I want them to have a space where their wellness is of paramount importance and of course build some amazing friendships that could last a lifetime.

Most importantly I want a school where I can see my children flourish. Where I know they will LOVE to spend the next 7 years of their life.

I know many of you asked how do you know which school to choose and to be honest, i don’t have the answers but I do think you will just know and get such a strong feeling.

Go in armed with questions, you know your child the best and you know what your primary values are.

✔️How to help unengaged students
